Product Development Engineer

Solution Tech is a fast-growing deep-tech startup building affordable green hydrogen technology for real industrial applications.

We are building technology that can help industries transition toward cleaner energy, and we are looking for people who want to build something meaningful from the ground up.

We are looking for a Product Development Engineer to join our core team and take ownership of turning our technology into a reliable, deployable product.

This is a highly hands-on role. You will work across design, prototyping, testing, system integration, troubleshooting, and product improvement.

You won't be limited to one small part of the product. You'll have the opportunity to work across different engineering disciplines and see your work go from idea → prototype → real industrial application.

• Design, build, test, and improve our hydrogen systems and prototypes.
• Work across mechanical, electrical, fluid, instrumentation, and control systems.
• Develop and improve system components such as pumps, piping, valves, sensors, and control systems.
• Conduct experiments, analyze data, and identify root causes of technical problems.
• Build prototypes and iterate quickly based on test results.
• Support system integration, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Select components and work with suppliers and manufacturers.
• Develop technical drawings, BOMs, specifications, and engineering documentation.
• Improve system performance, reliability, safety, and cost.
• Support pilot projects and deployment at industrial customer sites.
• Work closely with the founding team to turn technical ideas into real products.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Chemical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong engineering fundamentals and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on experience with prototyping, testing, or building physical systems.
• Ability to work across disciplines and learn unfamiliar technologies quickly.
• Comfortable troubleshooting problems where the answer is not immediately obvious.
• Ability to interpret data and use experiments to make engineering decisions.
• Strong ownership, curiosity, and willingness to get your hands dirty.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced early-stage startup environment.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical people.

Experience with any of the following is a plus:

• CAD / mechanical design
• Pumps, piping, valves, and fluid systems
• Sensors and instrumentation
• Electrical systems and wiring
• PLC / automation / control systems
• Arduino / ESP32 / Raspberry Pi
• Basic programming
• Data acquisition and analysis
• Manufacturing / fabrication
• Power electronics
• Hydrogen, electrolyzers, fuel cells, or other energy technologies
• Industrial standards and safety requirements
