Product Owner

We're hiring a Product Owner to sit at the intersection of customer, marketing, business and engineering — someone who takes a business problem and owns it end-to-end, from the first conversation about what we should build, through wireframes, the PRD, the sprint, and launch.

This is hands-on work. You brainstorm, sketch, write, prototype, and ship. You won't have a team of analysts, designers, or PMs reporting into you — you'll partner with them directly.

What You'll Do

• Break down ambiguous problems from first principles — decide what to build, and what not to
• Brainstorm and shape early-stage products with clients and internal teams, before a single line of code is written
• Map user flows and mind maps — turn fuzzy ideas into clear product structures
• Build working prototypes yourself — you do the visualisation, you don't hand it off
• Write PRDs and feature docs that engineering can actually build from
• Manage stakeholders on both sides — clients (who speak in outcomes and frustrations) and developers (who speak in constraints and effort). You're the bridge
• Run Agile delivery — backlog, sprints, scope control, and the discipline to keep teams shipping
• Defend the trade-offs — what's in v1, what's not, and why

What We're Looking For

1. Critical thinking — break down ambiguous problems, ask the right questions, reason from first principles
2. Stakeholder handling — fluently manage two audiences: clients (outcomes, frustrations) and developers (constraints, effort)
3. Project management — practical Agile delivery: backlog, sprints, scope control
4. Technical understanding — enough depth to challenge estimates and earn engineering's respect (not a developer, but technically literate)
5. Design sense — strong UI/UX intuition, partners well with designers
6. Attitude — ownership, ambiguity tolerance, and a bias to action
