Role Description The Production Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at F&N United Limited's facility in Samut Prakan. This position oversees daily production operations, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating resources to meet output, quality, and safety targets. The role involves monitoring production performance, resolving operational issues, and implementing process improvements to reduce costs and increase efficiency. The Production Manager collaborates closely with cross-functional teams such as maintenance, quality assurance, logistics, and procurement to ensure smooth material flow and timely delivery. Responsibilities also include supervising and developing production staff, maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory standards, and preparing regular reports on production metrics for management.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in production or manufacturing management, including oversight of daily operations and resource allocation.
  • Strong skills in production planning, workflow optimization, and process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, 5S, or Six Sigma concepts).
  • Proficiency in using production management or ERP systems and basic data analysis tools to track performance and make decisions.
  • Knowledge of safety standards, quality control practices, and regulatory requirements relevant to manufacturing environments.
  • Effective leadership abilities, including team supervision, coaching, conflict resolution, and performance management.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills in English; Thai language proficiency is an advantage for local coordination.
  • Ability to work on-site in Samut Prakan, manage multiple priorities, and remain calm and organized under time constraints.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Operations Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing facility in Thailand or the region is preferred.
