Production Manager

Your Task:

• Ensure adherence to quality standards and procedures throughout the production process.
• Analyze production line performance and identify imbalances or bottlenecks.
• Assure and ensure appropriate assets (manpower, equipment, materials) of the production unit are available and deployed to deliver the required and agreed operational performance.
• Lead, manage, coach, mentor and develop production unit according to the ZF Lifetec Way.
• Drive the organization in achieving operational performance/budgets, ensuring the achievement of Daily SFM Process, OP/SP production, Safety and Quality Performance, Customer Delivery Performance, Production Volumes, Manufacturing Costs, Productivity, Working Capital, Profit, etc. and long-term business objectives aligned with general plant KPI's
• Drives and fosters environment of continuous improvement, ensures that there is a long-term vision for the production unit supported by a production unit roadmap following the ZF Lifetec PS Way.
• Based on the ZF Lifetec planning cycles, Production Unit Leader will produce OP/SP and resource / infra-structure plan with their superior.
• Ensure that customers internally and externally, product lines and other functions are fully understood and that reliable relationships are established and maintained to the mutual benefit of both parties.
• Drives the new product launches & transfers with the Production Unit
• Create EHS environment and sustainability within PU
• Processes payroll (attendance, bonuses, reward, etc.) and vacation planning for his subordinates
• Comply with internal regulations, collective labor contract, and health and safety instructions.
• Maintain cleanliness and order at the workplace according to 5S principles.
• Perform any other tasks may occur but only related to the field of activity and in accordance with professional training.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding all information about the employer/employees/collaborators.
• Comply with and maintain IATF16949:2016, ISO9001:2015, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 systems related to the workplace.

Your Profile:

• Lead lean expert know-how and foster knowledge transfer/best practice sharing to all hierarchy levels in x-functions at plant;
• Support LPS key topics/methods incl. CIS, coordination and optimization of x-functions based on a LPS Road Map ;
• Promote developing LPS standards (incl. method ownership), its sustainable roll out/ adherence and qualifies PS Resources/ cross-functions for independent method application;
• Drive advanced LPS workshops/projects;
• Lead LPS trainings.
• Support lean implementation progress and derive required key activities based on LPS standard reporting;
• Coaching of staff in plant towards lean implementation
• Support documentation of success of LPS via CIS through KPI improvement
• Support the development of a lean roadmap and ensure alignment with strategic objectives
• Document best practices and standardize successful lean processes across the organization.
