Project Manager (Data Center, ChonBuri/Thailand)

The Project Manager is responsible for the end-to-end management of a Data Centre construction project from mobilisation through commissioning and handover.

The role provides leadership across engineering, construction, procurement, planning, commercial, quality, safety and commissioning functions to achieve project objectives and client expectations.

• Lead the overall execution of the Data Centre project.
• Develop and implement project delivery strategies.
• Establish project governance, reporting and communication structures.
• Ensure alignment between engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning activities.
• Drive project performance against safety, quality, programme and commercial targets.
  

• Manage construction operations across CSA, MEP and specialist systems.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams and subcontractors.
• Monitor progress and remove execution barriers.
• Ensure compliance with approved design, specifications and contract requirements.
• Lead recovery planning and mitigation measures when required.
  

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients and consultants.
• Build strong relationships with key project stakeholders.
• Manage client expectations and project communications.
• Participate in project governance meetings and executive reviews.
  

• Manage project budgets, forecasts and cash flow.
• Monitor project cost performance and profitability.
• Review and approve procurement strategies and subcontract awards.
• Manage variations, claims and commercial negotiations.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and project efficiencies.
  

• Monitor compliance with project schedules and milestones.
• Lead programme reviews with Planning and Construction teams.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Drive corrective actions to maintain project objectives.
  

• Support commissioning strategy development.
• Coordinate system testing and integrated systems testing.
• Ensure progressive completion and turnover of project systems.
• Lead project close-out and client handover activities.
  

• Champion a Zero Harm safety culture.
• Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and Thai statutory regulations.
• Lead incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Ensure implementation of quality management systems and inspection processes.
  

• Lead, mentor and develop project team members.
• Establish clear responsibilities and accountability.
• Promote collaboration and high-performance culture across all project functions.
• Support workforce and succession planning.
  

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• Professional Engineering registration preferred.
• Project Management certification is advantageous.
  

• Minimum 15 years of construction experience.
• Minimum 5 years in a Project Manager or equivalent leadership role.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale Data Centre, mission-critical, semiconductor, pharmaceutical or advanced technology projects.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams of more than 200 personnel.
• Experience delivering Design & Build or EPC projects.
• Experience working with international clients and consultants.
