Purchasing Leader (Associate Manager/Manager) - Chinese Speaking

An established multinational company in the electronics manufacturing industry is seeking a Purchasing Leader to lead procurement and material resource planning operations at its manufacturing facility in Pathum Thani.

This is a key leadership position overseeing purchasing strategy, inventory management, supplier coordination, and material planning to ensure uninterrupted production and efficient inventory control.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage material planning based on sales forecasts and actual demand
• Coordinate purchase orders, supplier deliveries, and cross-functional issue resolution
• Drive inventory and DIO management through regular review and improvement initiatives
• Lead and develop a team of 8 purchasing and MRP professionals
• Collaborate with operations, logistics, and suppliers to ensure supply continuity

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in any field
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Procurement, Purchasing, or MRP
• Strong experience in material planning, inventory control, and supplier management
• Business-level English and Business-level Chinese communication (HSK 5-6 preferred)
• Leadership experience managing teams and driving supplier performance
• Knowledge of inbound logistics and supply chain operations
• Experience with SAP, Excel, PowerPoint, and AI tools is an advantage
• Experience sourcing from Chinese suppliers is highly preferred
• Background in the electronics, semiconductor, LED, or manufacturing industry is a plus
