Python Automation Engineer

About Position:

We are seeking an experienced Test Automation Engineer who can Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Selenium and Python.

What You'll Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Selenium and Python.
• Develop and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Create and maintain Playwright-based automation solutions for web applications.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with developers, QA teams, product owners, and business analysts to define test strategies.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and support root cause analysis.
• Improve automation coverage, framework reusability, and framework efficiency.
• Support release validation, smoke testing, regression testing, and production verification activities.
• Create and maintain automation documentation, test plans, and execution reports.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog reviews.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• 5 to 8 years of experience in Software Testing and Test Automation.
• Strong hands-on experience in Selenium Automation Framework development.
• Excellent programming skills in Python.
• Mandatory hands-on experience with Playwright.
• Experience in Functional, Regression, Integration, and End-to-End Testing.
• Experience integrating automated tests with CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of API Testing and Automation.
• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools.
• Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
• Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and QA methodologies.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
