Python Test engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design develop and maintain test automation frameworks using Python
• Create and execute automated test scripts for web API and backend applications
• Develop reusable automation components and utilities
• Perform functional regression integration system and end to end testing
• Analyze business requirements and convert them into test scenarios and test cases
• Identify log track and verify software defects
• Automate API testing and backend validations
• Integrate automated test suites into CI CD pipelines
• Generate test reports and provide quality metrics to stakeholders
• Collaborate with developers DevOps teams business analysts and QA teams
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous quality improvement

• Strong programming experience in Python
• Hands on experience with Python automation frameworks such as

• Unittest
• Robot Framework
• Behave BDD
• Experience in Web Automation Testing using
• Selenium WebDriver
• Playwright Preferred
• Experience in API Automation Testing using
• Requests Library
• PyTest
• Postman
• REST Assured concepts
• Knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle STLC and Defect Life Cycle
• Experience with test design techniques and automation best practices
• Strong understanding of
• Functional Testing
• Regression Testing
• Integration Testing
• End to End Testing
• Experience with Git based version control systems
• Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies
• Knowledge of SQL and database validation
