About the Role

We are seeking a visionary and highly experienced QA & R&D Manager to lead our Quality Assurance and Research & Development teams. In this role, you will drive the continuous improvement of product quality, ensure compliance with international standards, and spearhead innovative product development to maintain our competitive edge in the plastic manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities

Quality Assurance: Oversee the entire QA/QC system, ensure raw materials and finished products meet specifications, and manage customer complaints and corrective actions.
R&D & Innovation: Drive new product development (NPD) and resin/plastic formulation improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Compliance & Standards: Maintain and upgrade quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, GMP, HACCP, or BRC) applicable to plastic packaging/products.
Team Leadership: Mentor and develop a high-performing team of QA engineers, QC inspectors, and R&D specialists.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Polymer Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 8 years of direct experience in QA/QC and R&D functions within the Plastic Manufacturing or Plastic Packaging industry.
Leadership: At least 3-5 years of experience in a managerial or leadership role.

Required Skills

Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of plastic processing (e.g., Injection, Blow Molding, Extrusion), polymer properties, and testing methodologies.
Systems: Strong expertise in ISO 9001, 14001, or other international manufacturing standards.
Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Good command of English is required.
