Job Description
Join Signature Products Group®
We turn ideas into impact. At Signature Products Group® (SPG), we design, develop, manufacture, and distribute licensed products for some of the world's most recognized brands, including Carhartt, Skechers, Browning, Fox Racing, and Hooey.
Collaboration drives how we build. Innovation turns bold ideas into real products. Adaptation keeps us moving forward through change. Accountability means owning our decisions and following through. Affinity turns customers into champions. And humility keeps us grounded, knowing great ideas can come from anywhere.
About the Role
Quality is how we keep our promise to the brands we represent. As our Quality Control Specialist in Bangkok, you'll be the key link between labs, third-party inspection agencies, factory teams, and SPG stakeholders, making sure our bags and backpacks, automotive accessories, pet accessories, and apparel accessories meet spec before they reach customers. You'll also hit the road to factories across Southeast Asia for quality and final inspections. This role is based in Bangkok, Thailand.
What You'll Do
- Review internal and third-party inspection reports for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with SPG quality standards
- Apply your knowledge of inspection parameters, AQL sampling, and defect classification (critical, major, minor) across our product categories
- Know our products inside and out so you can evaluate conformance to specs during report reviews and inspections
- Serve as the main liaison between testing labs, third-party inspectors, factory quality teams, and internal SPG teams
- Coordinate and schedule inline and final random inspections with factories and inspection agencies
- Clearly communicate findings, non-conformances, and corrective actions, in both written and spoken English
- Travel to factory locations as directed to conduct or oversee quality and final inspections
- Escalate quality risks and recurring issues to management, and support root-cause and corrective action efforts
What You Bring
- 3-5 years of experience in quality control, quality assurance, or product inspection, ideally in consumer goods manufacturing or sourcing
- Strong working knowledge of AQL sampling standards (such as ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 or equivalent) and defect classification
- Excellent written and spoken English for daily work with labs, inspection teams, factories, and SPG stakeholders
- A sharp eye for detail when reading and interpreting inspection reports and product specifications
- Understanding of textile manufacturing processes; textile manufacturing experience is recommended
- Willingness and ability to travel to factory locations as needed
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Proficiency with standard office and reporting software; QC or inspection reporting system experience is a plus
- Bonus: experience with bags (backpacks, duffels) or pet products (collars, leashes, pet beds)
If this sounds like your kind of team, we'd love to hear from you.
