Quality Engineer

We're hiring a Quality Engineer for a fast-growing international metal parts manufacturer in Rayong, serving the automotive supply chain. Salary is flexible up to THB 40,000 for strong experience and language skills, with income that grows every year and a provident fund of up to 15% — you'll own quality in the production process under IATF 16949, from problem analysis and quality documentation to supporting audits and customer complaints.

Location: Nong Lalok, Ban Khai, Rayong

Working Days: Monday – Saturday (08:00–17:00) — Sundays off, plus every other Saturday off

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, control, and develop the quality system in production to meet IATF 16949, customer requirements, and related standards
• Analyze quality issues from production, raw materials, and customers, and drive Corrective & Preventive Actions
• Prepare and review quality documents such as Control Plans, PFMEA, WI, and inspection standards
• Monitor and support quality control across Incoming, In-process, and Final Inspection
• Coordinate with Production, Engineering, and related teams to improve quality and reduce waste
• Follow up and respond to customer complaints, including 8D reporting
• Support Internal Audits and audits from customers or external parties
• Analyze quality data for continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering — Industrial, Mechanical, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in Quality Engineering or factory quality systems is a strong plus
• Knowledge of ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO45001 — IATF 16949 and Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA) knowledge is a strong plus
• Experience in problem solving and customer complaint handling, with systematic analytical skills
• Able to read drawings and specifications
• Strong communication and coordination skills, and able to work on the production floor
• English or Chinese communication skills (either one) are a strong plus — and are rewarded directly in salary
• Own a car with a valid driving license
• Native-level Thai fluency; this is a local hire based in Rayong (no visa sponsorship or relocation provided)
