Regional EHS Manager (Chemical Manufacturing)

The Opportunity:

My client is a global manufacturer serving high-tech and industrial markets across Asia. They are seeking an experienced Regional EHS Manager to lead and drive EHS compliance, risk management, and sustainability initiatives across the region. Based in Singapore and reporting to the Global EHS Director, this role will oversee EHS programs for Singapore, China and Korea.

The Job:

• Lead and manage environmental, health, and safety programs across Asia operations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable local, regional, and corporate EHS regulations and standards.
• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and management systems.
• Conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective action programs to prevent workplace incidents.
• Manage environmental compliance requirements, including waste management, hazardous materials, permits, and reporting.
• Lead industrial hygiene monitoring programs and workplace exposure assessments.
• Coordinate emergency preparedness, response planning, and business continuity initiatives.
• Deliver EHS training and drive employee engagement to strengthen safety culture.
• Monitor and report EHS performance metrics and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and other management system requirements.
• Partner with site leaders and regional stakeholders to achieve EHS and sustainability objectives.

The Talent:

• Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of EHS experience in chemical manufacturing sector.
• Chemical handling, hazard communication, and/or HAZMAT certifications is a PLUS
• Experience with industrial hygiene monitoring and environmental management programs.
• Familiarity with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and Singapore bizSAFE requirements.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a regional role supporting multiple countries.
