Company Description Merchant Partners Securities PCL (MPS), formerly Global Thai Securities, a Lehman Brothers company, was founded in 2005 in Thailand. The firm provides investment banking, capital markets, and financial advisory services tailored to the needs and risk appetite of high net worth.MPS offers a broad range of services, including investment advisory, and underwriting, private fund management, and Structure Note broking. The company is an active member of key Thai financial market institutions, including SET, TFEX, TSD, TCH, and ASCO. MPS is wholly owned by Merchant Partners Limited, a Thai financial holding company with regional advisory, investment, and underwriting capabilities.
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Relationship Manager – Fund and Bond role based in Bangkok. The Relationship Manager will develop and manage relationships with high net worth clients, focusing on fund products and fixed income securities, recommending appropriate fund, Structure Note and bond solutions including Offshore product, as well as monitoring client portfolios and proactively suggesting rebalancing or new opportunities. The Relationship Manager will also support new product launches, ensure compliance with regulatory and internal policies, and contribute to business development through networking and referrals.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Private funds
- Experience in client relationship management, including prospecting, onboarding, and ongoing service for high net worth.
- Skills in investment advisory, portfolio review, and suitability assessment, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable recommendations.
- Proficiency in financial analysis and market research, including understanding macroeconomic trends, credit risk, and yield curve dynamics.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; relevant professional licenses or certifications (e.g., securities or derivatives licenses in Thailand, Complex 1, IC, IP,CFA or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Fluency in Thai and good command of English; prior experience in a securities firm, asset management company.
