Job Summary

BDC is looking for a Resident Engineer to act as the key representative and third-party administrator for FIDIC-based contracts. This role requires strong technical expertise to ensure that project delivery is executed in accordance with contractual requirements, timelines, and quality standards. You will play a critical role in ensuring smooth coordination between construction and operations, while driving continuous improvement and design standardization across both project and operational phases.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and administer the contract to ensure full compliance with agreed terms and conditions
• Provide clear instructions to the contractor, including variations and changes to the scope of work
• Review and assess claims submitted by both the Employer and the Contractor
• Evaluate completed works and certify payments in accordance with contract provisions
• Conduct site inspections and approve works to ensure quality and compliance with specifications
• Support the resolution of disputes by providing fair assessments and initial determinations

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Resident Engineer / Resident Architect, with strong exposure to FIDIC contract administration
• Professional registration as an Architect, Civil & Structural, or MEP Engineer is preferred
• Fluent in Thai with professional proficiency in English
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in data center projects, including at least 3 years of full-time on-site experience
• Experience in hyperscale data centers, microelectronics, or other critical infrastructure projects is highly preferred
