Key Responsibilities

Engineering Management:

  • Understand and manage project development procedures, ensuring strict adherence to design principles and construction best practices.
  • Maintain control over construction practices to ensure compliance with quality standards, local regulations, and contractual obligations.
  • Monitor project timelines, quality, and costs to meet contractual requirements and milestones.
  • Achieve project quality management objectives, ensuring that the construction schedules and quality assurance systems are effectively implemented and followed.

Construction Management

  • Conduct pre-construction surveys, including assessing water, electricity, internet connections, and land leveling conditions.
  • Review project drawings and oversee the foundation, structural, and architectural work through completion, including acceptance and warranty management.
  • Collaborate with the construction team to develop and refine construction work programs based on contracts and the overall project plan.
  • Review the construction organization design and methodologies to ensure that civil, structural, and architectural work is progressing according to the work schedule.
  • Supervise the quality of civil, construction, and architectural work, ensuring inspections and acceptance procedures are completed accurately and on time.
  • Monitor and control the project costs, ensuring that financial goals are met and cost overruns are avoided. Participate in reviewing and confirming economic visas for on-site activities.
  • Assist in resolving disputes and issues related to construction contracts, claims, and other contractual obligations.
  • Participate in the bidding process, including formulating technical sections of bidding documents and reviewing technical data and specifications.
  • Manage communication between construction teams, civil engineering teams, and other relevant departments to ensure smooth project execution.

Coordination & Project Support

  • Coordinate with the general and subcontracted work, overseeing daily site management activities for civil, construction, and architectural tasks.
  • Maintain detailed construction logs and ensure accurate documentation of daily activities and progress.
  • Attend weekly construction coordination meetings, ensure that meeting minutes are reviewed, and ensure the synchronization of internal engineering data.
  • Resolve project defects and coordinate resolutions from handover through the defect liability period.
  • Oversee inspections and audits, and ensure all civil, structural, and architectural works meet the required standards before project completion.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • A recognized engineering title or qualification in the construction industry.
  • Minimum of 6 - 8 years of experience in civil engineering construction and management, with a proven track record in overseeing large-scale projects.
  • Proficiency in interpreting and managing civil engineering construction drawings and documents.
  • Extensive knowledge of civil construction management, engineering structures, and industry best practices.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage on-site activities, construction schedules, and coordinate multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills to manage on-site construction teams and liaise with project stakeholders.
  • A strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and a commitment to teamwork and project success.
