Coordination & Technical Interface
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Process, etc.) for all Civil-related STQs under the supervision of the Project Engineering Manager
- Ensure that discipline inputs are aligned, consistent, and communicated clearly to support field execution
- Serve as the main point of contact for interdisciplinary technical coordination at site
Contractor & Stakeholder Communication
- Participate in daily or weekly Civil Contractor coordination meetings conducted in English & Thai
- Provide clear explanations, clarify technical issues, and ensure that meeting actions are properly recorded and followed up
- Interface with Construction Management (CM), Area Leads, Supervisors, and Site Inspectors to ensure proper execution and alignment
STQ (Site Technical Query) Management
- Manage and control STQs, ensuring timely response and proper documentation
- Work closely with Project Engineers (PEs) for technical support and clarification
- Track STQ progress, monitor closure status, and escalate critical issues when required
Issue Resolution & Preliminary Assessment
- Review and perform preliminary assessment of issues reported by contractors, such as design discrepancies, site constraints, and material-related matters
- Propose initial solutions or mitigation measures, and coordinate further evaluation with the technical team
- Support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring construction issues
Site Support & Field Engineering
- Assist in verifying drawings, construction details, and field modifications to ensure alignment with engineering standards and project requirements
- Conduct field walks to confirm progress, validate concerns raised, and gather necessary technical information
- Support preparation of As‑Built documentation, red-mark updates, and construction records
Compliance & Quality
- Ensure that all civil works comply with project specifications, engineering standards, and safety requirements
- Coordinate with QA/QC teams to resolve inspection issues related to civil construction activities
- Support audits, quality assessments, and documentation checks as required
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare site reports, meeting minutes, action logs, and weekly updates for the Project Engineering Manager and Construction Team
- Maintain structured documentation for STQs, design clarifications, and coordination records
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum 8 years of experience in civil construction or field engineering roles (industrial, energy, infrastructure, or similar sector preferred)
- Good command of English & Thai in meetings, reporting, and technical discussions
- Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, drawings, and standards
- Excellent coordination, communication, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work at site under fast-paced project conditions
