Restaurant Manager

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing daily operations, including staff management, customer service, and inventory control.
• Create and maintain a positive work environment, fostering teamwork and employee morale.
• Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate updates, address concerns, and solicit feedback from team members.
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, and training new restaurant staff, ensuring they are properly onboarded and aligned with the restaurant's values and standards.
• Assist in creating and updating standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and efficiency in restaurant operations.
• Act as a liaison between front-of-house and back-of-house staff to facilitate smooth communication and workflow.
• Supervise and train restaurant staff, ensuring they adhere to company policies and maintain high service standards.
• Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Assist in the implementation of new technology or systems to improve restaurant operations and guest experience.
• Assist in developing and implementing strategies to increase restaurant sales and profitability.
• Assist in developing and executing marketing and promotional strategies to attract and retain customers.
• Handle administrative tasks such as payroll processing, inventory management, and financial reporting.
• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation of the restaurant.
• Assist in scheduling staff shifts and managing payroll to optimize labor costs and ensure adequate coverage.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and sanitary restaurant environment.
• Conduct regular inspections of the restaurant premises to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
• Develop and execute marketing initiatives and promotional activities.
• Assist in budgeting and financial management, including monitoring expenses and revenue targets.
