Risk and Safety Engineer

Responsibilities
- Develop complete Quantitative Risk Assessments (QRA) using Safeti software for LNG terminals, including gas dispersion and fire & explosion risk assessments
- Perform gas dispersion studies, FERA, and related safety studies
- Review Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
- Participate in HAZID, HAZOP, and SIL assessment studies
- Develop cryogenic spill protection calculations, including impoundment basin sizing, and define firefighting measures
- Review and develop flare sizing calculations
- Conduct firefighting system and hydraulic calculations
- Prepare Fire & Gas Detector Mapping Studies, fire zone layouts, and other safety-related studies
- Independently prepare technical reports and communicate effectively in English
- Manage multiple interfaces and prioritize work across concurrent tasks

Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering
Experience
- Experience in process and safety engineering/design for LNG regasification terminals
- Proficient in Aspen HYSYS, PHAST 2D, Safeti, and Pipenet
- Knowledge of process modelling, hydraulic calculations, and TRV relief evaluations
- Good understanding of industry standards and practices for process safety and design
- Experience with Green Hydrogen, Ammonia, or CCUS projects is a plus
- Prior experience in consulting firms is an advantage
