Risk Consultant (Internal Audit, Governance, Risk and Compliance Services)

Job Description:

KPMG's Risk Consulting team is part of KPMG Advisory, specializing in helping clients strengthen their internal controls, risk management, governance, and compliance frameworks. Through multidisciplinary teams of experienced professionals, we deliver practical solutions that help organizations manage risks, enhance operational effectiveness, and support sustainable business growth.

As a team member, you will be involved in a diverse range of projects, including Internal Control Reviews, Internal Audit, Corporate Governance, Enterprise Risk Management, IPO Readiness, and Regulatory Compliance.

In this role, you will collaborate with leading clients across multiple industries, gaining valuable exposure to a wide range of projects. You will address complex operational and systems challenges, offering you abundant opportunities for both personal and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the delivery of governance, risk, and compliance consulting engagements.
• Assess business processes, risks, and controls, and develop practical recommendations.
• Coordinate with client stakeholders, conduct interviews and workshops, and contribute to project execution.
• Prepare high-quality reports, presentations, and other deliverables.
• Support and coach junior team members.
• Stay informed on industry trends, internal control practices, and evolving regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
• CPA and/or CIA certification is an advantage.
• Understanding of corporate governance, enterprise risk management, process improvement, and internal controls preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar field (external audit or consulting experience is a plus).
• Proven experience in managing or supporting risk management projects, audits, or consulting engagements.
