Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and assigned areas according to hotel standards and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure guest rooms are properly prepared and presented before guest arrival.
- Make beds, replenish amenities, linen, towels, and other room supplies as required.
- Check room facilities and report any maintenance issues or defects to the relevant department promptly.
- Respond to guest requests in a polite, professional, and timely manner.
- Respect guest privacy and maintain strict confidentiality at all times.
- Handle lost and found items according to hotel procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping equipment, trolleys, and work areas.
- Follow all health, hygiene, safety, and chemical-handling procedures.
- Minimize wastage of amenities, cleaning materials, and other hotel resources.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping Supervisors and other departments to ensure smooth room operations.
- Attend daily briefings, training sessions, and departmental meetings as required.
- Support colleagues and other Housekeeping functions when necessary to ensure excellent guest service.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Certificate/Diploma in Hospitality or Hotel Management is an advantage.
- Previous experience as a Room Attendant or Housekeeping Attendant, preferably in an international or luxury hotel.
- Good understanding of room cleaning procedures, hygiene standards, and housekeeping operations.
- Basic English communication skills are preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Service-minded, friendly, honest, and reliable personality.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Physically fit and able to perform tasks involving prolonged standing, walking, bending, lifting, and repetitive movements.
- Willing to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
