This Position reports to:

Local Division Manager

Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop an effective sales strategy within the specified market scope in Thailand and maintain it, to improve ABB's market penetration and realize growth aspirations. Each day, you will define, plan, lead, and ensure the execution of sales strategy to achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets for products, systems, and/or services to ensure sustainable order growth, revenue, profitability, market share, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by leading, developing, and coaching the Sales organization (other sales managers and sales specialists within scope) to achieve the sales targets, through high performance.

The work model for the role is: Hybrid, #LI-Hybrid

This role is contributing to the MODP in Thailand.

You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Develop and implement sales strategies for Motion Drive products in alignment with company objectives.
  • Identify new business opportunities and build strong relationships with customers in industrial automation, manufacturing, and related sectors.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, including lead generation, proposal preparation, negotiation, and closing deals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, technical support, supply chain) to ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to provide insights for product positioning and pricing strategies.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.
  • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and seminars to promote Motion Drive solutions.

Qualifications for the role
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Automation) or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of sales experience in industrial automation, motion control, or drive systems.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing key accounts.
  • Strong understanding of motion control systems, servo drives, and industrial automation solutions.
  • Experience working with global brands in motion control or automation is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluent in Thai and English (spoken and written).
  • Willingness to travel within Thailand and occasionally overseas.
