Position Overview:

This role is responsible for driving LONGi's Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) business in Thailand, covering commercial & industrial (C&I) segments mainly. The successful candidate will act as a technical-sales specialist, developing project pipelines, managing key stakeholders (IPPs, EPCs, large end-users), and delivering integrated storage solutions that complement LONGi's solar franchise.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute BESS sales strategy for Thailand, targeting C&I mainly (peak shaving, arbitrage, PV+storage), and microgrid projects.
  • Identify and originate BESS project opportunities with IPPs, EPCs, system integrators, and large industrial/commercial end-users.
  • Build and manage long-term relationships with key stakeholders in Thailand's energy storage ecosystem (e.g., B.Grimm, Super Energy, Gunkul, SPIC, EA).
  • Lead technical-commercial negotiations, explaining BESS specifications (RTE, cycle life, safety design, grid-tied/off-grid logic) and IRR models.
  • Coordinate with regional technical teams for site surveys, grid interconnection (PEA/MEA), and solution finalization.
  • Establish local EPC/contractor partnerships for BESS installation, commissioning, and after-sales support.
  • Drive cross-selling of PV + storage with LONGi's solar sales team.
  • Monitor Thailand's storage policies (tariff trends, IL program, ERC incentives) and competitor activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Automation, or related engineering field. MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience, with at least 3 years directly selling BESS, PCS, or EMS solutions.
  • Proven track record of closing C&I or utility-scale BESS projects.
  • Fluent in Thai and English (business negotiation level). Chinese proficiency is a strong advantage.
  • Established network in Thailand's energy storage sector (EPCs, integrators, or large C&I end-users in Amata/WHA industrial estates).
  • Solid understanding of lithium-ion BESS technology, safety risks, and economic models under Thailand's tariff structure.
  • Full-cycle project sales experience: lead generation, solution design, financing coordination (leasing/PPA), contract negotiation, and delivery.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within Thailand.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, resilient, and results-driven.
