Role Description The Senior Sales Manager – Leisure (Bangkok Base) will lead leisure segment sales efforts, focusing on generating revenue from key markets and partners while being based in Bangkok and working on-site at InterContinental Hua Hin Resort. This full-time role includes developing and executing sales strategies, managing relationships with travel agents, tour operators, and online partners, and conducting regular sales calls, site inspections, and client meetings. The role involves preparing sales proposals and contracts, monitoring market trends and competitor activities, and collaborating with revenue, marketing, and operations teams to optimize packages and promotions. The Senior Sales Manager will forecast and report on leisure segment performance, represent the resort at trade shows and industry events, and ensure all sales activities align with brand standards and guest experience goals.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hotel or resort sales, preferably in the leisure segment and luxury market.
- Strong relationship-building and account management skills with travel agents, tour operators, and online travel partners.
- Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies, including market analysis and revenue-focused planning.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in English; proficiency in Thai or other languages is an advantage.
- Experience with sales and CRM systems, reporting tools, and basic data analysis for performance tracking.
- Demonstrated ability to work on-site, travel as required, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Knowledge of the Thailand hospitality market, leisure travel trends, and international tourism channels is highly beneficial.
