Position: Sales Manager, Power Tools – Thailand
Location: Bangkok, Thailand (South Asia Region)
Overall Role :
The main objective of the role of a Sales Manager – Thailand is to develop Cleco business within his territory under the guidance of Sr. Director Commercial - SA. The SM should make strategy to cover market, develop market share and grow the business. He/She should also develop the distributor organization below him/her, motivate and train the team to achieve annual targets & objectives. The SM should ensure growth of business in all the verticals (MVI, GI & Aero) YoY basis as per desired ambition for the region. SM should also keep the higher ups informed about new developments, projects, competition activities & market updates.
Job Responsibilities:
• Face to Face meeting with customers & distributors
• Manage & Lead the team of Thailand region, if any
• Achieve assigned revenue target from region.
• Full P&L responsibility for the region
• Develop and implement strategies and tactics to achieve Long term & Short term sustained growth in the region.
• Develop distribution network in the region as per need and effectively manage distributors.
• Monitor and control regional cost in line with targets.
• Ensure timely collection of receivables in region on regular basis.
• Maintain good customer relations by being in constant touch with the customers and also ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Expand customer base by adding new channels & direct customers
• New Product Launches, Demonstration of products in the region and market development for new products.
• Make analysis of market segments, compile competitor information and provide to Sales & Marketing directors with useful information for market development..
• Ask for help from the marketing & senior management team wherever & whenever required to develop business in the region
Practice Ethical Business Code of Conduct in region.
• To become a bridge between the HQ/Regional office and region to ensure that the policies and messages received from HQ/Regional office are effectively implemented & followed.
• Proper and timely reporting of information asked by regional & global HQ.
• Make effective use of sales tools like Customer Technology Days / Walk the Line / Transform & New Product Launch.
• Other duties as assigned time to time

Critical Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electronics)
• Min 1012 years of experience in Industrial sales, preferably of capital good or consumable products
• Knowledge in Assembly /Tightening tools, Material Removal tools, Sockets will be an added advantage
• Exposure in Automotive & General Engineering industry
• Strategic outlook & planning experience
