Position: Sales Representative (Solventum)

Principal Accountabilities /Key Responsibilities

  • Proactive identification of new users and business opportunities for accelerated product penetration
  • Formulate sales plan, visit customers, and develop and establish relationships with accounts and new prospects.
  • Build account intimacy, generate sales leads, and leverage various products to meet the customer's needs.
  • Develop sales strategy, sales plan, and quantitative sales target for target customers in line with company business strategy and plan.
  • Effectively plan and manage time and resources for effective coverage of territory, and communications, and coordinate other sales-related activities.
  • Present product features and benefits to clinical call points utilizing proper sales technique (probing, qualifying, needs assessment, supporting and closing)
  • Resolve customer complaints in accordance with company policy.
  • Handel simple complaints independently and request instruction and assistance from superior in handling situations which require either greater or different experience or knowledge.
  • Participates in all trade shows, conferences and other projects as determined by the Sales Manager.
  • Monitors and reports to the Sales Manager any marketing information and competitor sales and product strategies.
  • Conducts all business activities according to applicable rules and regulations and observes all company policy and procedures to ensure meeting ethical standards and compliance obligations.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Position Qualifications, Experience & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 2+ years of sales experience in hospital market (OR & Surgeon management in sales experience preferred) with medical devices or pharmaceutical product.
  • Basic knowledge of theories and practices, applied to one discipline, within the sales function, sales reporting, business intelligence, sales analytics, customer relationship management, territory planning/mapping.
    • Good presentation and public speaking skills.
    • Able to work independently and pro-actively manage their own schedule under time pressure.
    • Results-oriented and self-motivated with a high energy level, initiative, drive, matured and creativity
    • Strong ownership, accountability with high integrity and customer service mindset.
    • Proficiency in MS Office (advanced Excel functionality, experienced PowerPoint user)
    • Good command of both written and spoken English essential.
