Job Summary:
The Section Head Engineer holds a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and optimization of asphalt manufacturing processes by leading a team of engineers and technicians, overseeing the design and implementation of manufacturing systems to meet production goals and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise, control, and maintain machinery, tools, vehicles, and public utility systems to ensure efficiency and readiness for continuous operation.
- Supervise and oversee preventive maintenance (PM) to align with company policies and minimize emergency breakdowns.
- Coordinate with user departments to ensure efficient maintenance and provide excellent service.
- Supervise and control production processes to meet company goals and market demand.
- Supervise the use of suitable raw materials and contribute to continuous process improvement and quality enhancement.
- Manage operations within the company's established systems, including quality management, environmental management, occupational health and safety, and support testing laboratory operations.
- Ensure accurate and efficient job performance by regularly inspecting and supervising employees and fostering continuous improvement.
- Review and sign relevant documents.
- Present annual budgets in accordance with the company's directions (if applicable).
- Report operational results, challenges, and suggestions for improvement and development within appropriate timelines.
- Lead and develop engineering work and adapt it to the company's needs effectively.
- Study and train subordinates to comply with environmental policies and relevant work instructions (WI).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineer, Industrial Engineer and other related fields.
- 5 years + experience in Engineering fields.
- Strong in team management with ability to coach and train staff
- Good interpersonal, communication skill
- Computer literacy (MS Office, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Able to work on Saturday
