We're hiring a Security Automation Engineer to support and evolve automation services within a global incident response and cyber defense function.

This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy debugging, building, and improving automation rather than pure SOC monitoring.

Role overview

• Act as the first line of support for security automation workflows and playbooks
• Debug and resolve issues across SOAR / automation platforms
• Build and maintain Python-based integrations with security and enterprise tools
• Collaborate with senior engineers on fixes, enhancements, and reliability improvements
• Improve monitoring, alerting, and operational documentation

Required experience

• 2–4 years in software development, automation, or security-adjacent engineering
• Strong Python skills (automation, APIs, data handling)
• Experience working with REST APIs, JSON, Git/GitLab
• Familiarity with SOAR platforms (Cortex XSOAR is a plus, not mandatory)
• Comfortable working in an operations-driven, ticket-based environment
