Job Description
DBot Software is an enterprise software company that develops innovative digital platforms and custom software solutions for international clients.
This position is part of a multidisciplinary DBot team developing an innovative enterprise software solution for a European client in the real estate and architectural technology sector. The platform combines architectural data, interactive 3D environments, real-time visualization, building configurators, digital walkthroughs and enterprise workflow functionality.
This type of software requires specialist architectural and 3D expertise in addition to conventional software-development capabilities. The employee will therefore work alongside DBot software developers, QA engineers, solution architects and product specialists.
The role is not a licensed architectural design, engineering, statutory approval or construction-documentation position.
Role ObjectiveThe Senior 3D Visualization and Exterior Modelling Specialist provides the specialist knowledge required to develop, test and validate the software's 3D and real-time visualization functionality.
The employee will produce, optimize and quality-check exterior 3D models and digital assets based on architectural drawings, elevations, façade references, site information, technical specifications and software requirements.
These assets will be used as structured inputs, reference models and test scenarios within the enterprise software, not merely as standalone architectural visualizations.
Core ResponsibilitiesThe employee will be responsible for:
- Reading and interpreting architectural drawings, elevations, façade references, site plans and technical requirements.
- Producing accurate exterior 3D models of buildings, façades, roofs, balconies, windows, doors, terrain and surrounding environments.
- Preparing and optimizing 3D assets for integration into real-time visualization, configurators, digital walkthroughs and navigation functionality.
- Supporting developers and QA engineers in understanding architectural geometry, façade logic, building components and visualization requirements.
- Creating reference assets and test scenarios for the development and validation of the software.
- Testing how 3D models, materials and environments are imported, processed and displayed within the software.
- Identifying and documenting issues related to geometry, materials, textures, scale, positioning, rendering and real-time performance.
- Working with 3DS Max, Blender, ArchiCAD, Photoshop, Unreal Engine and other approved tools.
- Using Jira for task management, technical clarification, progress reporting, issue tracking and correction cycles.
- Following DBot's standards for file structures, naming conventions, versioning, asset organization, data security and delivery formats.
- Collaborating with DBot developers, QA engineers, product specialists, project managers and authorized international stakeholders.
- Supporting quality improvement, rework reduction and continuous development of the software's 3D asset pipeline.
Where assigned, the employee may also coordinate a small team while continuing to perform senior-level technical work.
Required SkillsThe candidate should have strong capability in:
- exterior architectural visualization and 3D modelling;
- interpretation of architectural plans, elevations and façades;
- 3DS Max, Blender or ArchiCAD;
- façade, building-envelope and site-context modelling;
- materials, textures and lighting;
- optimization of 3D assets for real-time applications;
- scene preparation for configurators, walkthroughs and interactive visualization;
- structured file and asset management;
- quality checking and correction-cycle management;
- Jira-based task management; and
- professional English communication.
Experience with Unreal Engine is highly advantageous, particularly for real-time visualization and interactive software applications.
Familiarity with software-development processes, agile delivery, software testing or version control is an advantage.
Experience RequirementsThe preferred candidate should have:
- substantial professional experience in architectural visualization, exterior modelling, real-time visualization or digital real estate technology;
- a strong portfolio of exterior architectural visualization work;
- proven experience modelling façades, building envelopes and exterior environments;
- experience working from architectural drawings and technical specifications;
- experience preparing optimized assets for real-time applications, configurators or digital walkthroughs; and
- experience working within structured international workflows involving deadlines, revisions and quality control.

The candidate understands that the purpose of the role is to help DBot develop, test and improve an innovative software product for a European client. The role therefore requires both excellent 3D capabilities and the ability to work closely with software developers, QA engineers and international technical stakeholders.
