As a Senior Account Manager with Amazon Web Services (AWS) focused on Thailand customers in Energy, Transportation and Utility sectors, you will have the exciting opportunity to help promote the growth and shape the future of an emerging technology. Your responsibilities will include increasing adoption, and market penetration across Thailand.

This role focuses on developing and executing AWS strategies to transform the relationship with named Energy, Transportation and Utility customers into a trusted, sustainable partnership enabled by Cloud and AI.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial services customers in Thailand, with experience selling to and partnering with them. They bring direct sales experience leading teams that exceed targets by growing revenue within existing accounts and acquiring new ones. They understand the technical requirements involved and have experience building teams with those skills. Above all, they drive engagement at the CxO level and across technical, IT, alliance, marketing, and sales functions.

This person is a natural influencer – someone customers and partners are eager to engage with.

We are looking for candidates with a proven track record of success in delivering results, with ability to engage CxO's with confidence, ability to orchestrate cross-functional teams (internally and externally), great communication skills, and must be able to explain cloud computing and infrastructure solutions at Level 100 (minimum).

Key job responsibilities

• Drive revenue and market share in a defined territory (Energy, Transportation and Utility accounts)
• Work with Thailand and regional cross-functional teams to define account strategies, identify opportunities and drive AWS business expansion.
• Develop and execute account plans to consistently meet and exceed revenue targets, applying a Think Big perspective to position AWS as a trusted business transformation partner.
• Collaborate with customers technology and lines-of-business (LOB) teams to bolster strategic relationships – articulating a clear vision, generating enthusiasm, and driving impact across all business groups.
• Engage at the most senior levels, earning trust with C-level executives and business owners to secure buy-in, while also partnering with IT stakeholders to deliver on initiatives.
• Drive both new opportunities and strategies that earn customer acceptance and accelerate AWS adoption.
• Effectively coordinate all relevant AWS resources – Executive Solutions Architects, Business Development, Marketing, Partners, Support, Service teams, and Professional Services – to foster a unified approach aligned with the account plan.
• Articulate compelling value propositions for AWS services across all organizational levels
• Partner with our partner ecosystem to extend reach and drive adoption.
• Manage mid-size to large accounts concurrently & strategically
• Create & articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services
• Possess the technical ability to explain (not implement) Cloud Computing, Infrastructure Solutions (Server, Storage, DC Services) & Internet Architectures (firewalls, load balancers, etc).
• Initiate customer case studies and references
• Draft and participate in various business reports & reviews
  
  

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum 8-10 years experience in large Enterprise account management and responsibilities (preferably in Energy, Utility and/or transportation)
• Bachelors Degree
• Fluent in Thai and English speaking and writing
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• C-Level Network: Existing relationships with CXOs, Managing Directors, and key decision-makers at large companies or conglomerates.
• Strong knowledge of current tech shifts like AI-driven solutions, cloud migration, energy transition, etc.
• Certification or proven background in strategic enterprise frameworks a plus
