Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant | Thailand

We're looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join a Medtech company in Thailand. This role is ideal for accounting professionals who enjoy working in a dynamic environment and taking ownership of financial reporting, taxation, compliance, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting transactions and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Handle month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Prepare and submit monthly tax filings (PND.3, PND.53, PND.54, PP.30, PP.36) and corporate income tax returns in accordance with Thai regulations.
• Submit annual financial statements through the DBD e-Filing system.
• Oversee Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, fixed assets, VAT returns, and tax invoices.
• Manage cash flow forecasting and intercompany settlements.
• Coordinate import documentation and support COGS calculations.
• Prepare budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Support statutory audits, tax audits, and external auditors.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and statutory requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and strengthen internal controls.
• Partner with banks and internal stakeholders on finance-related matters.
• Perform additional accounting and finance responsibilities as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, with strong exposure to month-end and year-end closing.
• Solid knowledge of Thai Financial Reporting Standards (TFRS), Thai taxation, and statutory compliance.
• Experience in ERP systems is essential; Oracle experience is highly preferred.
• Previous experience with an audit firm or public accounting practice is an advantage.
• CPD or CPA certification is preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Good command of English.
