Senior Accountant
Job Description
Seeking a Dynamic Accountant for an FMCG brand based out of Mumbai.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day finance and accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and ledger maintenance
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
- Manage cash flow planning and ensure the availability of funds for operational needs
- Monitor and analyse financial performance, budgets, and cost control
- Ensure timely and accurate GST filings, tax compliance, and audits
- Supervise and mentor junior finance staff (e.g., Account Executive)
- Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and banking partners
- Maintain accurate financial records using Tally, Excel, and Zoho CRM
- Provide strategic financial insights to the management team and support decision-making
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA Inter or MBA Finance preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in financial management, preferably in FMCG, retail, or hospitality industries
- Strong command over Tally, Microsoft Excel, and working knowledge of Zoho CRM
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, compliance, and taxation (GST, TDS)
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
