Senior Accountant

We are looking for a hands on and detail oriented Senior Accountant to join our growing team in Bangkok.

At WOWS Global, we work closely with high growth startups, SMEs, and cross border businesses across Southeast Asia through our fractional CFO and financial advisory services. This role is ideal for someone who understands Thai accounting and tax regulations deeply, enjoys solving problems, and is comfortable working in a fast paced environment.

The selected candidate will support both internal accounting functions at WOWS Global as well as accounting, compliance, and tax related matters for our clients. You will also work closely with our regional teams across Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, and India.

• Handle accounting and monthly closing activities for WOWS Global and selected client accounts

• Support fractional CFO engagements for startups and SMEs across Southeast Asia

• Prepare and review VAT, WHT, PND, and other local tax filings

• Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and accounting firms

• Manage AP, AR, reconciliations, and general ledger entries

• Support management reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis

• Ensure compliance with Thai accounting standards and statutory requirements

• Assist with payroll, social security, and regulatory submissions

• Work closely with regional finance and operations teams across Indonesia, Vietnam, and India

• Help improve accounting workflows, controls, and reporting processes

• 4 to 7 years of accounting experience in Thailand

• Strong understanding of Thai taxes and compliance requirements

• Hands on experience managing accounting operations independently

• Good understanding of financial statements and reconciliations

• Comfortable working in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment

• Good English communication skills

• Experience working with startups, SMEs, or regional businesses is a plus

• CPD or CPA qualification is preferred but not mandatory

• Someone proactive, reliable, and detail oriented

• Strong ownership mindset

• Ability to multitask and work across different engagements

• A team player who enjoys working in a regional environment
