Role Overview:

As a Data Scientist II (CV) at ALLEN Digital, you'll apply deep learning techniques to solve real-world educational challenges and drive product innovation that enhances learning outcomes. Ideal candidates have a strong foundation in computer vision, hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks, and a passion for impactful, AI-driven solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

● Design, develop, and deploy machine learning algorithms and models, with a focus on computer

vision, face recognition, emotion detection, OCR applications, etc.

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project opportunities

● Mentor and guide junior data scientists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and

improvement

● Stay updated with the latest advancements in machine learning and computer vision,

and apply this knowledge to drive innovation

● Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate

them into actionable data-driven insights

● Ensure the quality and integrity of data used in model development and testing

● Communicate findings and results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

What we are looking for:

● Master's or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field

● A total of 2-6 years of experience, including at least 2 years in roles involving Computer Vision

● Proven experience as a Senior ML Scientist or a similar role, with a focus on computer vision and

deep learning

● Strong experience in developing and deploying OCR applications

● Demonstrated ability to mentor junior data scientists and foster a collaborative work environment

● Proficiency in Python and relevant machine learning libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.)
