about the role

Lead end-to-end advanced analytics initiatives, from initial problem framing to final deployment.
Formulate and optimize machine learning algorithms to solve complex commercial challenges.
Process large datasets, resolve data quality issues, and build robust analytical pipelines.
Write highly scalable, production-grade code leveraging modern software engineering practices.
Utilize cloud environments to deploy and manage analytical solutions.
Translate complex technical outputs into actionable strategies for cross-functional business leaders.
Provide technical direction, code reviews, and mentorship to junior team members.

skills and experience

Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a highly related quantitative field or a bachelor's degree coupled with substantial industry experience.
Proven track record of delivering end-to-end data science solutions in a commercial setting.
Advanced programming proficiency in Python and standard machine learning libraries.
Hands-on experience building scalable applications on cloud platforms such as GCP.
Deep foundational knowledge in statistics, mathematical modeling, and data wrangling.
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to navigate ambiguous environments and changing priorities.
Demonstrated experience guiding or mentoring fellow technical professionals.
