An established Global Retail company is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to lead its Thailand operations. This role will be a key member of the local leadership team, responsible for overseeing the full finance function while supporting business growth and operational performance.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the full spectrum of finance and accounting operations for the Thailand entity
- Oversee monthly closing, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes
- Provide timely and accurate financial analysis to support business planning and performance management
- Monitor key performance indicators including sales, margins, operating expenses, and working capital
- Ensure compliance with Thai statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements, and manage relationships with external auditors and advisors
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls, policies, and financial governance frameworks
- Drive cost control initiatives and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency
- Partner closely with commercial and operational teams to support business decision-making
- Act as the key finance liaison with regional and group stakeholders
- Lead, mentor, and develop the local finance team
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 10+ years of progressive finance experience, ideally within retail, FMCG, or consumer businesses
- Strong understanding of local GAAP, tax regulations, and statutory requirements
- Experience working within a multinational / matrix organization
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence non-finance stakeholders
- Experience with ERP systems
- Fluent in Thai and English preferred
