Senior FP&A Analyst (Solar / Wind)

Our client, an established multinational organisation within the energy sector, is seeking an experienced FP&A professional to support regional performance management, business planning and strategic decision-making across its APAC operations. This is a highly visible role partnering with regional leadership, country teams, joint-venture stakeholders and corporate headquarters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare consolidated monthly management reports and quarterly performance materials for regional leadership, headquarters and joint-venture reviews.
• Present monthly financial performance, highlighting key variances, business drivers, risks and opportunities.
• Develop detailed APAC profit and loss reporting across countries, projects and cost centres.
• Partner with country managers and the business development, project management and asset management teams on project controlling and performance analysis.
• Lead the annual budgeting and rolling forecast processes while supporting the preparation of the long-term business plan.
• Develop financial templates to consolidate operational and financial information for budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning.
• Coordinate data submissions and extraction through the organisation's planning system, including Anaplan.
• Work closely with Accounting to reconcile statutory and management reporting and ensure the accurate allocation of costs across projects, M&A activities, cost centres and countries.
• Address finance-related queries from joint-venture partners and support discussions concerning business performance.
• Conduct financial modelling and ad-hoc analysis for strategic projects, new initiatives and major business decisions.
• Improve reporting processes, data collection and automation while maintaining the accuracy and integrity of financial information.
• Serve as the Finance super user for the ERP system and support future system implementations, enhancements and upgrades.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline, with professional qualifications such as ACCA or CPA preferred.
• At least six years of relevant experience in FP&A, management reporting or finance business partnering within a multinational organisation.
• Proven regional or group-level experience covering budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis and stakeholder management.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial data consolidation, modelling and reporting automation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights.
• Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders across multiple countries and business units.
• Previous experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central would be advantageous.
• Two to three years of experience with a Big Four accounting firm would be a strong advantage.
• Exposure to the renewable energy sector would be beneficial.
