Job Summary
You will lead and manage the full employee lifecycle and HR operations, ensuring compliance with Singapore employment laws. Collaborate with management to deliver effective HR solutions that support business goals and employee engagement.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily Human Resources and Administration operations to ensure smooth and compliant processes
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, employee confirmation, and offboarding to maintain workforce continuity
- Process monthly payroll accurately, including overtime, allowances, deductions, and statutory submissions
- Administer work pass applications, renewals, cancellations, quota management, and foreign worker levy compliance
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR data within the HRM system for reliable reporting and audits
- Administer employee leave, medical benefits, insurance, and welfare programs to support employee well-being
- Coordinate and track staff training programs to enhance employee skills and maintain development records
- Manage performance appraisal processes and support employee relations and disciplinary actions to foster a positive work environment
- Prepare and submit HR, payroll, manpower, and compliance reports for management review and decision-making
- Liaise with government agencies such as MOM, CPF, IRAS, and other regulatory bodies to ensure statutory compliance
Required competencies and certifications
- Strong hands-on experience in monthly payroll processing and statutory submissions
- Good knowledge of Singapore employment practices, HR policies, and administrative procedures
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of relevant HR experience in Singapore, preferably in a generalist or HR management role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word, to support HR data management and reporting
- Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with stakeholders
- Meticulous, proactive, and highly organised with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Experience in the construction industry
- Ability to communicate in Chinese/Mandarin to facilitate communication with Chinese-speaking workers
