Job Description

Job Summary

 Senior HR Officer is responsible for managing and coordinating key HR operations and providing HR support and advice to employees and management. The role will take ownership of day-to-day HR processes, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, HR operations, compliance, and HR reporting.

Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Manpower Planning

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process from manpower planning and job posting to sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding.
  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand recruitment requirements and provide appropriate recruitment solutions.
  • Develop effective sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates for different positions.
  • Monitor recruitment progress and recruitment KPIs, including time-to-fill and recruitment status.
  • Maintain an effective candidate pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
  • Ensure a smooth onboarding process for new employees.

2. HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle

  • Manage and coordinate HR processes throughout the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, probation, transfers, promotions, resignations, and offboarding.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR information in the HRIS.
  • Coordinate payroll, benefits, attendance, leave, and other employee-related administration with relevant parties.
  • Prepare and maintain HR documents, reports, and employee records in accordance with company requirements.
  • Ensure HR processes are implemented consistently and efficiently.

3. Employee Relations & Labour Law Compliance

  • Provide HR advice and support to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and employee-related matters.
  • Handle employee enquiries, grievances, disciplinary matters, and other employee relations cases professionally and confidentially.
  • Support management in resolving employee-related issues and provide recommendations where appropriate.
  • Ensure HR practices comply with applicable Thai labour laws and regulations.
  • Keep up to date with changes in labour law and recommend necessary adjustments to company policies and practices.
  • Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.

4. Performance Management

  • Coordinate and manage the company's performance evaluation process.
  • Support managers and employees in understanding performance management requirements and timelines.
  • Provide guidance on goal setting, performance reviews, and performance improvement plans.
  • Monitor completion of performance evaluations and prepare relevant reports.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the performance management process.

5. Learning & Development

  • Conduct training needs analysis in cooperation with managers and relevant stakeholders.
  • Coordinate the annual training plan and training activities.
  • Manage training arrangements, including internal and external training providers.
  • Monitor training participation, costs, and effectiveness.
  • Maintain training records and prepare training reports.
  • Support initiatives to improve employee development and capability.

6. HR Analytics & Reporting

  • Prepare regular HR reports and dashboards for management.
  • Monitor and analyse key HR metrics, including:
  • Headcount
  • Employee turnover
  • Recruitment status and time-to-fill
  • Attendance and leave
  • Training
  • Performance evaluation
  • Other relevant HR KPIs
  • Provide HR data and analysis to support management decision-making.
  • Ensure HR data is accurate, up to date, and handled confidentially.

7. Compensation & Benefits

  • Coordinate employee benefits and support the administration of compensation-related processes.
  • Work closely with Finance and relevant service providers on payroll and employee benefit matters.
  • Support annual salary review and other compensation-related activities as required.
  • Ensure employee benefit information and records are accurately maintained.

8. HR Process Improvement & Projects

  • Review existing HR processes and identify opportunities for improvement and increased efficiency.
  • Take ownership of assigned HR projects and ensure they are delivered within agreed timelines.
  • Support the implementation and improvement of HR systems, policies, and processes.
  • Recommend practical HR solutions based on business and employee needs.
  • Support other HR initiatives and projects as assigned.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4–6 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in an HR Generalist, HR Operations, or Senior HR Officer role.
  • Solid experience in recruitment and employee lifecycle management.
  • Good knowledge of Thai labour law and HR compliance.
  • Experience in employee relations and handling employee-related cases.
  • Good understanding of performance management, training and development, and compensation & benefits.
  • Experience in HR reporting and data analysis.
  • Good knowledge of HRIS and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and manage deadlines effectively.
  • High level of confidentiality, professionalism, and attention to detail.
