About the Role

We are looking for an experienced PMO Manager to lead project governance, portfolio management, and strategic project delivery across the organization.

This role is responsible for strengthening project management frameworks, overseeing the IT project portfolio, managing budgets and resources, and ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and aligned with business objectives. The PMO Manager will partner closely with executives, business leaders, and cross-functional teams to drive execution excellence, manage risks, improve delivery capabilities, and achieve successful business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Project Governance & Portfolio Management

  • Lead the development and continuous improvement of project management standards, methodologies, and governance frameworks.
  • Oversee the IT project portfolio, including prioritization, resource allocation, and budget management.
  • Partner with business and technology teams to ensure strategic initiatives are delivered effectively.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to align priorities and drive successful execution.
  • Ensure compliance with project governance standards and reporting requirements.

Project Planning & Delivery

  • Develop and manage project plans, roadmaps, implementation schedules, and delivery timelines.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and quality expectations.
  • Monitor project progress and adjust plans based on evolving business priorities and requirements.
  • Drive execution excellence across initiatives supporting organizational transformation and growth.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Track project performance, timelines, budgets, quality measures, risks, and dependencies.
  • Utilize project management tools and methodologies to monitor delivery effectiveness.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including governance records, budget tracking, implementation plans, and program roadmaps.
  • Develop executive dashboards, reports, and portfolio performance insights for decision-making.
  • Provide regular project and portfolio status updates to senior stakeholders.

Financial & Resource Management

  • Manage project budgets, forecasts, and resource planning activities.
  • Analyze financial impacts, including cost tracking, budget utilization, and cost-to-completion projections.
  • Ensure projects remain within approved financial parameters and deliver expected business value.

Risk Management & Continuous Improvement

  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews and capture lessons learned.
  • Promote PMO best practices and strengthen project management capabilities across the organization.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience

  • 5-7 years of experience in Project Management, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.
  • Proven track record of delivering enterprise-wide business and technology projects.
  • Experience in PMO governance, portfolio management, budgeting, resource planning, and executive reporting.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, governance practices, and delivery frameworks.
  • Ability to evaluate project health and monitor performance against established standards.
  • Strong financial management, budgeting, and analytical capabilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Outstanding stakeholder management, negotiation, and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills in both Thai and English.
