Senior Legal and Compliance Counsel

To support its cloud and AI infrastructure activities. The role combines technology contracts with practical compliance controls, working with commercial, procurement, technical and operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead legal support on technology and infrastructure projects, including partner, procurement and customer arrangements.
• Draft and negotiate hardware, software, hosting and support contracts, plus customer terms, service agreements and SLAs.
• Advise on corporate, licensing, data protection and cybersecurity requirements.
• Run risk-based customer and vendor due diligence, including restricted-party screening and end-use review.
• Work with specialist counsel on export controls and sanctions, and turn their advice into procedures and contract terms.
• Build the legal and compliance team, policies, approval workflows and reporting; manage external counsel and budgets.

Qualifications

• Thai law degree with 10+ years of in-house or law firm experience.
• Strong technology contract experience (cloud, data center, infrastructure, software or procurement).
• Experience with due diligence and sanctions screening; working knowledge of US sanctions and export controls.
• Proven ability to build teams and processes and work with senior management.
• Excellent Thai and English drafting, negotiation and communication skills.
• Thai Bar admission, or experience in AI, cloud, privacy or cybersecurity, is an advantage.
