Senior Litigation Associate

Role Description The Senior Litigation Associate will handle a broad range of litigation matters, with primary responsibility for managing cases in Thai courts and, where relevant, across ASEAN jurisdictions. This full-time, on-site role is based in Bangkok City, Thailand, and involves drafting pleadings and motions, preparing legal opinions and memoranda, conducting in-depth legal and factual research, and developing case strategies in coordination with partners. Daily responsibilities include supervising junior lawyers, coordinating discovery, preparing and conducting depositions, liaising with courts and regulatory authorities, and managing communication with clients on case status and strategy. The Senior Litigation Associate will also participate in settlement negotiations, support arbitration or mediation proceedings, and contribute to internal knowledge development and practice growth within the litigation and disputes team.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Law, with proven experience in corporate and commercial litigation and familiarity with Thai legal procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to draft and argue Motions, pleadings, and other litigation documents effectively before Courts.
• Advanced Research skills in statutory law, case law, regulations, and complex factual issues relevant to litigation.
• Experience preparing for and conducting Depositions, client and witness interviews, and evidence gathering.
• Admission to practice law in Thailand; additional ASEAN jurisdiction experience is an advantage.
• 5+ years of post-qualification experience in litigation or dispute resolution, preferably in an international or corporate law firm environment.
• Excellent analytical, writing, and advocacy skills, with the ability to present clear, well-reasoned arguments in English; Thai language proficiency strongly preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple cases, lead junior team members, and work collaboratively with cross-border and cross-functional teams.
• High level of professional integrity, client-service orientation, and readiness to work on-site in Bangkok City, Thailand.
