Key Responsibilities:
General Ledger (Standalone Financial Statements – Thailand)
- Oversee GL accounting for Thai entities, ensuring compliance with TFRS and Group policies.
- Review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure proper accounting treatment for complex transactions, accruals, and provisions.
- Monitor closing processes and key reconciliations.
- Advise management on accounting and financial reporting matters.
Group Consolidation & Reporting
- Manage Group consolidation in line with TFRS/IFRS.
- Ensure accuracy of intercompany transactions and eliminations.
- Coordinate with local and overseas teams for consistent reporting.
- Support consolidated financial statements and management reports.
Tax Management
- Oversee compliance with Thai taxes (CIT, VAT, WHT).
- Ensure accurate tax accounting, including deferred tax.
- Lead transfer pricing documentation and related-party reporting.
- Provide tax advisory on key transactions and structures.
Internal Control & Risk
- Strengthen controls across GL, consolidation, and tax.
- Liaise with auditors, regulators, and tax authorities.
- Identify and mitigate financial and tax risks.
People & Stakeholder Management
- Lead and develop team members.
- Drive governance and continuous improvement.
- Partner with CFO and senior stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years experience in accounting and/or tax functions
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
- Professional qualifications such as CPA, CPD, or equivalent is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of Group consolidation, TFRS/IFRS, and Thai taxation
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking at Group level
- Background in audit firm would be advantage
- Ability to manage complex, multi-entity accounting and tax matters
- Working knowledge of international taxation and Transfer Pricing sufficient to oversee and challenge technical work
