Key Responsibility:
Investment Analysis & Financial Modeling
- Develop detailed financial models for strategic investment, business expansion, M&A, partnership, new business, and transformation initiatives.
- Perform valuation analysis using methods such as DCF, comparable companies, precedent transactions, NPV, IRR, payback, and sensitivity analysis.
- Analyze financial statements, business performance, market assumptions, return potential, risk factors, and investment feasibility.
- Prepare scenario analysis to support investment decision-making and strategic options.
Business Case & Investment Materials
- Prepare investment papers, valuation summaries, financial analysis, management presentations, and Investment Committee materials.
- Translate complex financial models and valuation outputs into clear investment recommendations.
- Support development of business cases with Finance, Strategy, Business Units, Operations, and Corporate Finance teams.
- Challenge key assumptions including revenue growth, margin, cost, capex, working capital, synergy, and implementation risk.
M&A, Partnership & Transaction Support
- Support end-to-end transaction activities, including target screening, market research, due diligence coordination, valuation, deal structuring support, and transaction documentation.
- Coordinate with external advisors, legal, tax, finance, business teams, and relevant stakeholders during transaction execution.
- Conduct industry, competitor, market, and target company analysis to support strategic investment decisions.
- Support negotiation preparation by preparing financial scenarios, valuation ranges, risk assessment, and decision points.
Capital Allocation & Portfolio Monitoring
- Support capital allocation analysis across growth projects, strategic investments, transformation initiatives, and business expansion.
- Track investment pipeline, approved investment performance, capital usage, and return expectations.
- Support post-investment review by comparing actual performance against approved business case and investment assumptions.
- Identify key value creation opportunities, risks, and corrective actions for investment portfolio performance.
- Work closely with Associate Director - Corporate Finance & Valuation, Director - Group Finance Excellence & Corporate Finance, Business Units, Strategy, FP&A, and Operations.
- Provide high-quality analytical support for senior executive decision-making.
- Ensure investment analysis is aligned with business strategy, financial governance, and long-term enterprise value creation.
- Maintain professional standards in modeling, documentation, confidentiality, and investment analysis discipline.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or related fields; MBA, CFA, CPA, or financial modeling certification is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, M&A advisory, transaction services, private equity, strategy consulting, valuation, or corporate development.
- Strong investment banking-style skill set, including financial modeling, valuation, transaction analysis, pitch deck preparation, due diligence, and investment memorandum writing.
- Experience in wholesale, retail, consumer goods, distribution, e-commerce, logistics, or related sectors is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of DCF, comparable company analysis, precedent transaction analysis, NPV, IRR, payback, sensitivity analysis, and scenario modeling.
- Ability to analyze financial statements, market data, business models, investment risks, and value creation opportunities.
- Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, financial modeling, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical thinking, commercial acumen, attention to detail, ownership, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder coordination, problem-solving, and executive presentation skills.
- Good command of Thai and English, especially for investment materials, financial analysis, and management presentations.
