Key Responsibilities

We are looking for a Finance Business Partner based in the West to drive financial planning, performance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic business partnering to support sustainable business growth.

The FBP Job Responsibilites Includes

Analysis and Reporting

• Manage and oversee the functions of financial performance review and analysis, management reporting, and review to ensure accuracy of month-end closing of business unit.
• Drive, coordinate, prepare and track quarterly forecast, annual budget and forward-looking strategic plans with business units.
• Analyze monthly costing variances and gross margin analysis, and work with operations in setting/updating the right standard cost in MS Dynamics 365.
• Drive gross margin and inventory management improvement initiatives, propose recommendations to overall cost management and review allocation of overhead costs.
• Work with operations in managing operational controllable expenses drivers.
• Partner business units closely to track project developments and ROI assessment.
• Work with management to monitor performance against long-term strategic plans.
  
  

Accounting Practices and Financial Controls

• Uphold internal controls procedures and systems control in line with the Group's financial policies.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of accounting records and financial systems as part of the financial review.
• Handle year-end audit queries and related audit-required assessments.
• Handle any ad-hoc assignments and projects.
  
  

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in accountancy, finance, or a related discipline.
• CPA or ACCA accredited or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum 7 - 12 years of experience in Finance Business Partnering, Financial Planning & Analysis, inclusive of financial modelling experience.
• Experience in aviation industry would be highly advantageous.
• Team Management – able to collaborate well with fellow SATS Finance Business Partners in contributing to Division deliverables.
• Possess good presentation skills to articulate financial performance and outcomes to key stakeholders.
• Results-oriented individual who is self-motivated, independent, resourceful and adaptive to new ways of working.
• Able to work in fast-paced environment, with good organizational and prioritization skills.
• Highly proficient in data manipulation and visualisation using Excel and Powerpoint.
