Job Description

What you'll do

Responsible for compiling and interpreting financial information and support for the corporate accounting department and implementing internal controls and compliance initiatives
Maintains General Ledger for local Financial Reporting Requirements
Performs month-close activities for local GAAP including review of Journal entries and Reconciliations
Adheres to local reporting deadlines and policies
Engage with cross-functional teams and external consultants/auditors towards managing local audits, compliances
Stay current on evolving Accounting Standards pronouncements and updates under prevailing regulatory bodies & Income tax and incorporating into current Company policy as necessary
Adopt a critical thinking approach, anticipate technological developments and communicate to leadership teams.
With minimal guidance, identifies and acts on opportunities to improve own team and cross-functional productivity.
Communicates complex accounting/ tax and regulatory implications, effectively to diverse audiences, using appropriate media and language.
Evaluates and applies industry best practices around accounting and reporting standards. Teaches others about accounting, tax sections and reporting standards
Effective implementation all the corporate accounting policies

Experience You'll Need

Degree in Accountancy, with CA qualification and 10-15 yrs of working experience in an Accounting Organization in the Industry
Experience in end-to-end legal entity level accounts finalization/Statutory Reporting process for both India and International entities. (IFRS and IND AS knowledge).
Proven technical knowledge in IND AS, IFRS and inter-company accounting
Experience in process gap analysis, transition and delivery management
Excellent knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
Very good work organization, initiative and commitment
Awareness of business trends & familiarity with financial accounting statements
Proficiency with accounting software and experience with a software system preferably experience in NetSuite, Blackline and Floqast
Strong foundation in accounting, finance as well as direct and indirect tax
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Highly adaptive, Quick learner, Mature, proactive, resourceful and hands-on with intuition to lead initiatives.
