Key Responsibility:
- Category Leadership: Own the end-to-end merchandise strategy for vitamins and supplements, ensuring competitive positioning and growth.
- Product Development (NPD): Lead new product development initiatives, from concept to launch, leveraging expertise in food science or pharmaceutical applications.
- Sourcing & Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure high-quality raw materials and finished products at optimal cost.
- Innovation & Differentiation: Apply scientific knowledge to enhance formulations, improve efficacy, and create unique value propositions for Lotus's own-brand supplements.
- Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure all products meet regulatory requirements, safety standards, and internal quality benchmarks.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, R&D, and supply chain teams to deliver successful product launches and category growth.
- Market Insights: Monitor industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activity to inform strategy and innovation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Science, Pharmaceutical Science, Nutrition, or related field.
- Proven track record in sourcing and developing vitamin/supplement products, with hands-on NPD experience.
- Strong understanding of food supplement regulations, formulation science, and product enhancement techniques.
- Commercial mindset with experience in merchandise/category management.
- Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
- Ability to balance scientific rigor with consumer-centric innovation.
