Role Overview
As the senior specialist role, you will report directly to the procurement division head. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire procurement lifecycle, from strategic sourcing and vendor management to system development and compliance. Your goal is to drive efficiency, transparency, and significant cost savings while leading a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop annual procurement strategic plans aligned with business goals.
- Establish procurement policies and standards to ensure transparency and auditability.
- Analyze expenditures and drive cost-reduction initiatives.
- Oversee end-to-end procurement and contracting processes to ensure accuracy, speed, and regulatory compliance.
- Lead the digital transformation of procurement, including e-Procurement, ERP integration, and inventory system development.
- Manage Initiative Projects to adapt to market changes and internal organizational needs.
- Build and maintain a transparent vendor database.
- Evaluate vendor performance and lead negotiations to achieve maximum value for money.
- Develop long-term strategic relationships with high-potential vendors.
- Prepare Spend Analysis and Cost Saving reports for senior management.
- Provide analytical insights to support timely and effective decision-making.
- Manage team structure, assign responsibilities, and develop a succession plan (target: 2 successors per key role).
- Ensure all activities comply with internal & external regulations, Thai law.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in Procurement/Purchasing.
- At least 4 years in a management/leadership role.
- Experience in Insurance or Financial Instituteions is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in ERP, Excel, Power BI, and e-Procurement systems.
- Strong understanding of OIC regulations and relevant procurement laws.
- Strategic thinking, advanced negotiation, ownership mindset, and the ability to work under pressure.
