Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join the Goldcast product team within Cvent. This team owns the experience event hosts, speakers, and attendees rely on to produce, present, and engage in virtual events, helping our customers meet their goals of generating pipeline and revenue, increasing strategic event participation, and more.

The role calls for sound judgment, critical thinking, effective communication and decision-making, and fluency with AI-native ways of working. You will partner closely with engineering, design, video and production specialists, and customer-facing teams to move ideas from insight to shipped outcome, and you will collaborate with industry-leading marketers and event professionals to solve their real production, engagement, strategy, and pipeline generation challenges. What You Will Be Doing

  • Collaborating with engineers, designers, video production specialists, and customer success to gather, analyze, and document requirements for the virtual event experience and related experiences across Goldcast
  • Running continuous discovery, including customer interviews, opportunity mapping, internal stakeholder interviews, supported by rapid AI-assisted prototyping to understand user needs and drive strategic product roadmaps
  • Analyzing usage and engagement data to identify opportunities across the event lifecycle, from pre-event setup through live production to post-event content repurposing and strategy setting
  • Working directly with sprint teams to ensure product success, you will ensure quality and timely delivery by anticipating bottlenecks, managing project item and backlog prioritization, making trade-offs and balancing business needs versus technical constraints
  • Partnering with Customer Success and Support to bring the voice of event hosts, producers, and marketers into roadmap decisions
  • Defining the quality bar and evaluation criteria for all newly released features and enhancements, with specific focus on AI-powered features
  • Using AI tools (Claude, Cowork, and similar) as part of your daily workflow to accelerate research synthesis, requirements drafting, competitive analysis, data summarization
  • Acting as a subject matter expert for the virtual events function
  • Producing internal training materials and release notes for new product features and modules
  • Supporting integration and consistency efforts between Goldcast and the broader Cvent product suite
  • Identifying technical challenges or anomalies and coordinating with engineering to drive resolution

What You Need for this Position:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience as a Product Manager, with 5+ years on SaaS products preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to drive clarity and precision in product requirements
  • Comfort working collaboratively with cross-functional, distributed teams across engineers, designers, video/production specialists, marketers, and customer-facing teams
  • Experience shipping and iterating non-deterministic AI-enabled features, including literacy with prompt engineering and assessing quality through structured, repeatable evaluations. Experience building evaluation datasets, writing LLM-as-judge prompts, designing human-in-the-loop feedback loops, monitoring model drift in production, etc.
  • Experience using rapid AI-assisted prototyping to understand user needs and drive strategic product roadmaps
  • Fluency using AI tools daily as part of all core PM work for research, prototyping, writing, analysis, etc.
  • Working knowledge of SQL or a self-serve analytics tool (e.g., Mixpanel, Sigma) to answer your own usage and engagement questions
  • Familiarity with virtual, webinar, and hybrid event technology; understanding of live production concepts such as streaming, multi-speaker hosting, or video workflows is a strong plus
  • A sense of urgency, ownership, and the drive to unblock yourself and get things done
  • Direct experience in software development processes including requirements gathering, agile ceremonies, release management, and testing
  • Experience contributing to or reviewing quality checks for AI-powered features is a plus
  • Experience with video, streaming, or content/media platforms is a plus
