(Senior) Reinsurance Underwriter

We're seeking an experienced Treaty Underwriter to join our client, sitting within their P&C reinsurance team in Singapore. In this role, you'll underwrite and manage a diverse APAC treaty portfolio, assess risk and pricing, and drive profitable growth.

What you'll do:

• Underwrite and manage P&C treaty business across Asia
• Analyse submissions, pricing, and exposure; ensure profitability
• Build strong relationships with clients and brokers
• Identify new business opportunities and support regional growth
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and portfolio performance
• Collaborate with actuarial, claims, and internal functions

What we're looking for:

• 10+ years P&C treaty underwriting experience
• Strong technical, analytical, and commercial skills
• Knowledge of pricing tools and catastrophe modelling
• Actuarial background or education is a plus
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management
• Knowledge of alternative risk transfer and structuring solutions is preferred
• Degree in Insurance/Business/Risk; professional qualifications a plus
