Role Description The Senior Relationship Manager, CIMB Preferred Onshore, is a full-time, on-site role based in Singapore. This role focuses on managing and growing a portfolio of high-net-worth and affluent clients through proactive engagement and tailored wealth management solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting regular portfolio reviews, identifying clients financial goals, and recommending appropriate investment, insurance, and banking products. The Senior Relationship Manager will deepen client relationships by providing personalized advisory, ensuring high service standards, and coordinating with product and operations teams to deliver seamless end-to-end solutions. The role also involves achieving sales and revenue targets, monitoring market developments, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal policies, and participating in client events and networking activities to acquire new clients.
Qualifications
- Strong relationship management and client advisory skills, with proven experience serving affluent or high-net-worth clients.
- Solid knowledge of wealth management, investment products, insurance solutions, and banking services, including both conventional and Islamic offerings.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly.
- Demonstrated ability to meet sales, revenue, and portfolio growth targets in a competitive financial services environment.
- Sound understanding of regulatory requirements, risk management, and compliance standards in Singapore's banking and wealth management sector.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with capability to conduct portfolio reviews and identify suitable financial strategies.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, including product, operations, and compliance teams, to deliver seamless client service.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline; relevant professional certifications (e.g., CMFAS, CFP, CFA) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in a similar relationship management role within a bank or financial institution in Singapore is strongly preferred.
